Dinda professor of Lutheran Identity and Mission at the College of Arts and Sciences at Concordia University in Austin, Texas. An avid reader, educator and philosopher, Carl tackles otherwise serious issues with characteristic warmth and wit. Inclusive and welcoming, he challenges differing viewpoints by helping others strengthen the case of their argument in order to further the discussion. A wealth of knowledge, Carl relishes his role as Professor and mentor, sharing his teaching philosophy as he guides the next generation of learners.
