Lazerbeak is one of this city’s music gems. An accomplished artist himself, he also heads the Doomtree Collective and record label, home to the likes of Dessa and P.O.S.

We start the conversation talking about our love of crystals and some favorite local shops.

Beak shares with the crew his commitment towards giving back to the community, raising thoughtful and well-rounded children, the importance of meditation and of course - some music stories. Jim proves he’s a true fan by sharing his own copy of Beak’s first CD from The Plastic Constellations!

He is as delightful as he Is accomplished, proving that a helpful and gregarious attitude towards your community can do wonders. And, one of the prime examples of what makes the Twin Cities’ music community so special.

Do you know Beak has his own podcast? Check out Tuesdays with Lazerbeak.
